Jeff Neuville serves as Director of the Manufacturing Solutions Center (MSC) where he oversees a staff of 25 people dedicated to supporting US manufacturing and creating and retaining US jobs. Primary MSC services include product testing in the MSC’s testing lab accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 standards; product development and prototyping support; on-site business incubation; and connecting customers to US suppliers and manufacturers. The Manufacturing Solutions Center is a core partner of the NC Textile Innovation Engine, working to develop and commercialize new products with recycled and sustainable materials and strengthen the textile industry’s workforce. In conjunction with the Engine, the MSC has partnered with Analog Digital Systems to develop the Thread-X training platform to compress equipment training time and cost. Prior to joining the Manufacturing Solutions Center, Jeff served as Director of Catawba Valley Community College’s Small Business Center, part of North Carolina’s Small Business Center Network. In this role Jeff worked with start-ups and small businesses, assisting with the creation of over 100 start-up businesses and helping to create and retain over 600 jobs. In 2021 Jeff was recognized as the state’s Small Business Center Director of the Year. Jeff spent much of his business career working in his family’s hosiery manufacturing business, working in Marketing, Operations and serving as CEO. During his time as CEO, Neuville Industries received Wal-Mart’s Vendor of the Year Award, as well as awards from other customers for outstanding service and quality products. Jeff earned a degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received his MBA degree from the University of Maryland.

Abstract

This 60-minute workshop showcases the partnership between Analog and The Manufacturing Solutions Center transforms traditional manufacturing training into a scalable, worker-driven system. Drawing from real-world implementation, attendees will explore how to capture expert knowledge, convert it into structured digital workflows, and deliver it through intuitive, frontline-friendly tools. The session introduces a practical framework for breaking down complex processes, enabling faster onboarding, consistent quality, and continuous improvement. Participants will learn how to empower operators to become more self-sufficient and adaptable while reducing reliance on tribal knowledge. By the end, attendees will walk away with actionable steps, tools, and a repeatable approach to re-evaluating their own processes—unlocking a more resilient, efficient, and quality-focused workforce.
