Dr. Kim Case Kim serves as the Northwest Regional Impact Manager for myFutureNC, the statewide non-profit organization focused on increasing educational attainment and improving career outcomes. A native of Northwest North Carolina, Kim’s career in education began as a middle school teacher where she gained practical experience in engaging students in learning, life, and leadership. Her desire to impact student outcomes has been the driving force on her career pathway. In addition to serving in the classroom, Kim worked as an instructional facilitator, school principal and district coordinator of innovation and online education. Kim has extensive experience in literacy instruction, resilience and trauma-informed practices, as well as educational innovation, transformational leadership and organizational change. She holds credentials from Appalachian State University, Gardner-Webb University, Florida State University and Lenoir-Rhyne University.
